We're hiring for Farm Help

Founded in 2018 in Montrose Colorado, Typhoon Farma Inc is a 125 acre commercial hemp farm that produces some of the finest compliant hemp in the world. Our primary focus is partnering with labs around the globe to provide the highest quality, organically grown, cannabinoids to help those who need it from a health and wellness aspect. 

We are significantly expanding in 2025 (up to 500 acres) and are seeking 8-12 additional farm staff starting April 15th 2025..

This is a 40hr+/week seasonal position, but could lead to full time, year-round employment for the right individuals.
 

Duties will include:
Field Preparation – Laying plastic mulch and irrigation lines, supporting the equipment and drivers.

Plant Germination – Assisting greenhouse lead with seedling propagation and watering.
Planting - riding a transplanting machine and putting seedlings in the machine to the machine can plant them in the ground. Ensuring we maximize success rate of plants. 

Cultivation - Removal of invasive weed species by mechanical and hand means. Identifying “male” plants and removing according to proper SOP’s.
Irrigation – monitoring for leaks in the irrigation system and fixing accordingly.
General Maintenance - Fencing, buildings, general farm areas, cleaning, and other duties as directed by the GM.
Harvest - Assist with cutting plants, drying plants, and machine separation of plants and fiber into biomass.

Logistics- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, using pallet jacks and working around forklifts. 

This work is 95% outside with some indoor greenhouse work.

Requirements: 

-Transportation to and from work

-Proper Current Identification

-The ability to work outside, at lengths, while standing

-The ability to bend, squat, twist, and lift about 50lbs

-Willingness to wear required safety gear when necessary: closed toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, N95 masks, and occasionally hard hats.

- Willingness to work well with others and contribute to the farm’s safety culture.
